The Sewers is a retro horror game taking place in the underground tunnels of the cities as a poverty-stricken civilian of this world, you need to desert your sanctuary to find a better home. Don't lose sight of the walls around you, never forget why you left the world above. You are armed with a cheap flashlight and a pair of legs that don't like to run for too long. As quiet as the sewage system could get, you must remember that you aren't alone and have never been before.

As you are having a rest in your humble abode you have the urge that something is present, something dangerous. Now you trust the urge and decide it's time to leave. You've been pushing your luck for too long down here. As you walk to exit this place you once called home your urge becomes a reality. Now your goal is to leave this area as this impending doom chases you. Will you escape or will you fall.
"Look, I'd wish you hadn't seen that. It can be a . . disagreeable place. Just make sure you check behind you when heading through. And make sure to check all around before you come out. Keep your eyes on where the walls are, don't lose them, your mind may not be the only thing choked on atmosphere. Don't lose your head, you want an open casket. Live by your light, it may be your angel. You're not going to argue, that's something I think we all can agree on, maybe except for. . ."

Even nothing was happing sometimes the game was tense asf

This game cost me an ass wooping
Game was creepy to boot and had a constant foreboding atmosphere, the only thing that through me off is the multiple angles for a single tunnel.
Thanks for playing the game, I appreciate your criticism of the game as it helps development. I have fixed some of the issues you mentioned already, for example we added a new model for the flashlight battery, and added more of a purpose of the flashlight and I am still working on more of the game as this is just a demo. The cameras and controls are likely to be configured and the game still has lots of polishing to do. I also plan to add and fix lots of the things you have mentioned, I just haven't gotten to them yet. Anyway thanks a bunch!
Awesome news, I am always weary about giving feedback because I don't want it taken as something like negative, and that I come across as being mean. But if there is an improvement being made then that is awesome as the end game will be much more entertaining we all win! Look forward to the update.

Interesting game, with few flaws. It's alot to write, but you can see it in video. Flaws are not that big and game is still very good. It gave me Silent Hill vibes and I love it. Few fixes here and there and game will be great! I hope to see more from you in the future :)

Did you take the file out of the zip? Also make sure not to move any of the files except for the DV.05 file out of the zip.
if you download the itch.io desktop app, you can download games really really easily
I very much enjoyed this! Great spooky atmosphere, and some good jump scares. I wasn't sure if I reached the actual ending, but after trying a couple times with the same results I gave up lol. Still a very well made game!

I love the aesthetic of this game and the constant fear of not knowing what's going to happen next. The sound could probably do with being balanced out a little because I'm fairly sure it blew out my eardrums...
